Know what you can spend

How much can I spend before I get paid again?

Kezari takes your bills and essentials out first, ignores income you cannot count on yet, and gives you one number you can actually act on.

No bank connection. No card required. Your account starts empty.

Why a monthly budget keeps failing you

Most money apps assume a steady salary and a calendar month. A great many people have neither.

Your pay is not monthly

Weekly, fortnightly, twice a month, or whenever the work comes in. A calendar-month budget was never built for that.

The balance lies

What the bank shows is not yours. Rent, the loan and the electricity bill are already spoken for. Kezari takes them out first.

Maybe-money is not money

An invoice that might clear on Friday should not be spent on Thursday. Kezari leaves uncertain income out until it is certain.

Three steps, then one number

Setup takes a few minutes. After that it keeps itself up to date as bills fall due and pay days come round.

1

Tell it when money arrives

Salary, shifts, invoices, commission, a benefit payment. Say how sure you are about each one.

2

Add what is already committed

Rent, loans, subscriptions, and roughly what you spend on food and transport.

3

Get one number

What is genuinely free to spend before your next income, and what that is per day.

  Money you have now $637
- Bills committed before your next income -$467
- Essential spending until then -$60
- Your safety buffer -$0

= SAFE TO SPEND $110

That is $11 a day for the 10 days until payday.

What you get

Everything here serves the same question. Nothing is there to fill a screen.

Safe to Spend

One figure, updated as things change, with every deduction shown. You can always see how it was worked out.

What if?

Test a purchase, a late payment, a rent rise or a lost client before it happens. Nothing you test changes your real money.

Built for irregular pay

Several income sources at once, each with its own rhythm and its own certainty.

Bills come out first

Committed payments are set aside before you are told anything is free.

A daily allowance

Your remaining money divided by the days until you are paid, so it is easy to act on.

Honest about risk

Comfortable through to shortfall, from a published rule. Calm language unless you are genuinely short.

What if?

Try the decision before you make it

Ask what a purchase does to the rest of your week. Ask what happens if a client pays late, or if rent goes up. You get the before and the after, side by side, and nothing about your real money changes.

Questions

How is Safe to Spend worked out?

Kezari starts with the money you have now, then takes away the bills committed before your next income, a forecast of your essential spending over the days until then, and any safety buffer you have set. What is left is your Safe to Spend. Every line is shown in the app.

Do you connect to my bank?

No. Kezari does not connect to your bank and asks for no banking credentials. You tell it what is coming in and going out, which means it works the same whether you are paid into an account, in cash, or through a mobile wallet.

What if my income is unpredictable?

That is what it is built for. Add each payment as you expect it, with how sure you are. Anything below your certainty threshold is shown but not counted, so you are never told to spend money that might not arrive.

Is it a budgeting app?

No. There are no categories to maintain and no monthly plan to keep to. Kezari answers one question and then gets out of the way.

Does testing a purchase change anything?

No. A what-if runs the same calculation over a copy of your position and throws the copy away. Your income, bills and transactions are never touched, even if you save the scenario.

What does it cost?

The core product - Safe to Spend, income, bills and reminders - is free. A premium tier adds unlimited scenarios, income reliability insights and history.
